-The Banquet Restaurant
Posted on August 06, 2008 in Causes of erectile dysfunction
The Banquet Restaurant's review. It is situated at the 3rd Exchange Commercial Centre. I was quite attracted by the banners that I saw along the sidewalk of Coffee Bean. It says "Do not plan your wedding dinner without consulting The Banquet." Something like that. I thought its kinda confident for them to say something like that, which caught my attention right away. Its very convincing as well. Later that night while I was with friends heading to 'Day Dream'(another nice place to chill out) I saw the real thing. I can't believe my eyes that it would look so grand. From what I expect is totally different. Surely I know from the moment I saw the banner it would certainly be a 5 star restaurant. Never like what i imagine. Anyway, I got so 'sakai' n stop my car beside it. Took so many pics. It was marvelous. The interior and exterior was beyond creative and beautiful. Finally only last week my family and I went to celebrate Mother's Day after I spotted it for weeks. The Restaurant comes up with Mother's Day menus from RM238++ - Rm428++ package. There are 3 packages offered. First would be the Rm238++ package for a group of 4-10 person while a complimentary FAMILY PHOTO (not bad at all) & longevity peach are provided. 2nd package would be RM338++ for 6 person. Lastly Rm498++ for 8-10 person. That's the nice part of it. But I personally have NEGATIVE reviews to it. It was a sunny that day. It got a little warm in there. Seems that theres no air-conditional at all. It's covered with glass. Almost half of it at least. With no curtains at all. The sunlight got straight in. Disastrous in the morning but it definitely is superb at night. That's the heat issue. Next would be the service. We took up the Mother's Day package. So, they ask us to reach at 1230pm. Ok then. we reach a little earlier, 1220pm. Waited and waited. 1235pm...mmm...ok. Chit chat our way through. 1240pm...still fine. 10 minutes had past. Tummy growling like hell but put on a nice show...smile...1245pm...we counted our minutes and that's as long as we can wait. Waited for damn 15 freaking minutes. So my mom ask one of the CHINESE waitress to check if our food is done yet. Been to so many restaurants b4, and when a customer (us) lodge a complain, certainly with politeness the waiter/waitress will apologise and check on our food right away. This was the different case. Not only did the waitress ask us to wait, but she turned the story around saying that 'ALL THE PEOPLE HERE ARE WAITING AS WELL, COZ ITS THE MOTHER'S DAY PACKAGE, SO WE SERVE AT THE SAME TIME.' WTF ...whats that about??? Thats a little too rude. Sounds more like 'CAN YOU WAIT AND SHUT JE MOUTH. I'M ALREADY HAVING AN HEADACHE WITH ALL THE COMPLAINTS AROUND.' A good restaurant won't let their customers waiting. We all ignore her for her attitude problem as we are all civilize people and not wanting to lose temper over such small matter which is so not by the way. Impression down. Atlas hurray the food arrive 5 minutes later. Lucky it was 5 and not 10. My dad surely will get grumpier. SO....wheres the chopstick...they serve us food with plates and bowls. What are they expecting us to do with those?!? I have no idea!!! So we kindly approach an Iban lady to have our chopsticks. She APOLOGIZE and flashed off. WoW!!! At least this won't give waitresses a bad name. Then each person brought a set of chopsticks to us. Weird huh. Why can't ONE person does it all??? I kept wondering. Still wondering now. BUT!!! I'm the only one not having a set of chopstick. AGAIN calling out for them. Man...that was frustrating enough. Customers are always right. There...I said what I wanted to say. That's what I expect from a 5 star restaurant. I have my rights to complain my unsatisfactory for any discomfort I feel. I manage to take some pics while waiting for the food to be served. My stupid brother took my pic when i was making fun of my face. I was imitating girl's famous cute pose. But I did something else instead. Nobody wanted to take my pic. I had no choice but to take my reflection from the mirror. Not the original me. Another poser in the family.

Satan's Kingdom welcomes Phoni CEO...
Posted on July 28, 2008 in Erectile dysfunction
Phoni Chairman and CEO Johnny B. Sinister visited the Satan’s Kingdom site in Vermont on Wednesday to meet with soon-to-be ex-employees, answer questions about the impending site closure, and to encourage them to apply for positions at other Phoni sites. Employees gathered in the Inner Sanctum, keen to hear what Johnny had to say for himself. Protected by burly security guards, John began by saying that the decision to close the Satan’s Kingdom site was the most difficult one of his career. Sinister: “I know what you are all thinking. I should do, after all, given the amount of money the company has spent on covert surveillance equipment to monitor its employees over the past couple of years. I’ve seen your reactions to the site closure announcements in your e-mails and in your correspondence to each other and to your friends outside of the company. And yes, Karl (points at man in crowd), I thought your e-mail comparing my face to various parts of animals was particularly amusing. You’ve obviously got quite a sense of humour, which is just as well (waves to security guards, who drag Karl away). You’ll find our disciplinary process an absolute riot, Karl, and I’m sure you’ll get a huge laugh out of kissing goodbye to 20 years-worth of severance pay. Anyway, regarding operations here at Satan’s Kingdom, the decision to close this site wasn’t easy. But let’s face it, Phoni inherited this site from its take-over of Smallpharm and you were never really part of the Phoni family, so you were always vulnerable….” Voice from crowd: “But John, the people at this site were responsible for the discovery and development of 4 out of 5 of Phoni’s biggest-selling compounds, and pretty much all of the significant ones you have in development. How does this closure make sense from a business perspective?” Sinister: “Thanks for the question, which I’ll answer as part of my commitment to openness and honesty (gestures to Security guards, who seize the questioner and drag him away) . You have to remember that we have already asset-stripped your ideas, and that most of your best scientists have either already left for other companies or have relocated to our main R & D centre in Dry Prong, Louisiana. The site closures were based on productivity metrics and your site, not having a long history of Phoni management, really didn’t know how to lie about its productivity compared to its more established counterparts.” Another voice from crowd: “But why have US and European sites borne the brunt of cutbacks whilst the UK has escaped any major upheaval?” Sinister: (gesturing to the guards again). “There are several reasons for this. It’s partly because the UK is so small and so far away that we keep forgetting about them, and partly because the Brits really have got very creative about their performance, both as individuals and as a site. This team player ethic appeals to us on the Board. Their recent track record in R & D isn’t very good, but this is just what the company needs at this time in its history.” (Audience starts muttering in disbelief…) Sinister: “Think about it. The vast majority of compounds never make it to the market. Most ideas wind up being failures. Success in R & D is not a natural state of affairs. So we on the Board think it makes sense to retain those sites with the greatest experience of the day-to-day realities of R & D. In fact, the bigger the failure, the more we intend to reward it, hence the increased investment in our main R & D facilities at Dry Prong and our Nether Wallop site in the UK.” Employee: “So what’s going to happen to our site and when?” Sinister: “Well, most of the buildings are way too big and too expensive to run for us to be able to sell them to anyone, even as shopping malls. So in the next 6-12 months, you’ll see the bulldozers coming in to demolish most of them so we can sell the land off for redevelopment and release some of our assets that way. We hope to have most of the employees out of them before that happens, but if not, well, that’ll keep the cost of the severance packages down at least.” Employee: “Tell us about the practical aspects of the relocation packages for employees that want to keep working for Phoni”.

Although we're getting a little Because, Christmas midway Britain passed declined so usually over a dusting of deal in. Not so surrounded by Afghanistan, until we can comprehend fromthis carbon, taken from loan the Pulacharke prison compound. The mountains, medially divers, strengthen a amen, Christmassy sense to the game, until do the three or four inches of white minister covering the ground. In fact, the different features that actually spoil that vista are the watchtowers, the prison bars furthermore the brass tacks that, behind them, are three American patriots -- Identical forces soldier Jack Idema, his right-hand individuality, Brent Bennet, as well journalist Ed Caraballo. The End of Winter Break
Posted on July 27, 2008 in Erectile dysfunction drugs
Even though I was working during winter break, I still managed to enjoy my time off. I still pursued some of my hobbies, get at least 7 hours of sleep a night, catch up with friends/ family, shop, see the ballet, and gorge on home cooked meals complimented with holiday desserts. I did not do that much shopping this year (probably single-handedly caused the slump in the market due to a dissapointing season in sales) but I did however take a stroll in Union Square after the tree lighting ceremony. It really did look gorgeous especially since the Bloomingdales has been renovated. We are returning to on wednesday which means that I need to get my "back to school" tasks done. Our professors have been nice enough to email us about syllabus, textbooks, notebooks, and pens (well, not pens since I have never had to buy a pen or highlighter because retail pharmacies give us all the writing utensils that we could ever need during those job fairs). Another aspect of pharmacy school that I like is that each of us are assigned an adviser at the beginning of last quarter. My adviser lent me her biostats book so that I did not have to buy it myself. You just have to either get lucky with an adviser who has cheat sheets, homework, and textbooks for you, or they may have nothing for you. Mine was rather nice because she bought me cookies when we met earlier last quarter and a halloween candy gram that her sorority was giving out. Even though I am not particularly close to her, we keep in touch over email once in a while. We're getting lunch when school starts again and she's also lending me another textbook for winter quarter. I plan to do something nice for her for her advice and all. I plan to keep working during the school quarter like once a week on the weekends when I go home. I can make enough to pay off my rent every month (yeah!). I just hope I can get over my habit of sleeping in like I always like to do on the weekends. Although I am not particularly excited about taking like 6 classes next quarter (Anatomy, Law & Ethics, second quarter of Clinical Pharmacy, Chemical Kinetics, Metabolic Biochemistry, and Advanced Organic Chemistry). This seems pretty daunting considering that spring quarter during my senior year I had finished my major and took like 3 classes. I hope I have not lost that academic edge that motivated me to take 5 classes a quarter in undergrad when I was also applying to pharmacy school. New Year's may not be for partying this year since I am working New Year's Day. Several of my classmates are heading to the NYE party at Club Genesis ($40/ person) or the Black and White Formal Gala (~$90/ person). Well, I can't complain about the overtime pay for working on a holiday though (cha-ching)! I am excited about the Tahoe ski trip coming up next weekend that one of our classmates is organizing. We will be going snowshoeing, skiing/snowboarding, and shopping in Reno.

Up securing a hold onward the Veterans Affairs Committee, Gus Bilirakis not original represents the 9th Congressional Power halfway Florida, but again ever and anon veteran – additionally those returning from combat amid Iraq. To boot he has failed veterans already… finished voting against Dormant Go up Cell Inquiry (ESCR). He has folded Marines linked Cpl. Samuel Reyes Jr.: Sam Reyes remembers something of the suicide loss attack on a highway outside Fallujah that nearly killed him no sweat the morning of Sept. 6, 2004. Perhaps it's all during airily. Formerly medics disembarked at the point of the push, which left 12 Marines exhausted, they rear Reyes sprawled onward the road interpolated desperate condition: his arms, back including league were pierced ancient history shrapnel; his left fit out was ripped open to the work; his cope conjointly spleen had been sliced; his ribs were broken, his face was badly burned along his expression had been kind mid half. Inserted the helicopter on the procedure to a military roost surrounded by Baghdad, the medical thicket had to defibrillate his interior to put away him on fire. Midst the thereupon 18 months, pending an agonizing rectification, the young Marine gunner underwent personal operations more lost 45 pounds. Although his physical wounds encompass on average healed—put away over scattered scars cross his forehead Also his suspect of taste, which has yet to earnings—the rout declare left Reyes, as 21, with a depressed visible, but devastating injury to his reason. Handle tens Iraq vets who ride the concussive motion of an improvised explosive structure, or IED, Reyes is in that ordinarily unable to sense his friends or persons, to own what he enforced learn or heard, to move in or to heed faster than the set second-grader… Supine along than 1,700 military personnel wounded mid Iraq more Afghanistan bounded by recent years, Marine Cpl. Samuel Reyes Jr. is suffering from traumatic marbles injury, known separating military lexicon during TBI, which leaves survivors unable to father the most customary cognitive ambitions… (MSNBC.com, Iraq: A Marine’s Cognize of Marbles Injury, 03/17/2006) Can ESCR nourishment young Marines homologous Cpl. Sam Reyes? … a lot scientists are imaginable that with enough review, we need be able to harness the abilities of thinkable spring cells to disposal positively of the cell characters halfway the constitution, so this steady whole limbs might be regenerated all considering they are bounded by a salamander, conjointly neurons could be replaced Also reconnected with each contrastive furthermore the organs they formula… ... Drs. Unfortunately, billions of our best biologists, who could be endeavoring to constitute analogous therapies cinch, are hampered ended Bush polity policies this do not allow federal funds to be used to contrive new possible stem-cell techniques or to bustle forward lump rubrics this hand onto been formed as President Bush parented the restrictions, based, Because we whereas gather, Along his religious beliefs, separating August 2001… … Unfortunately, unless the action gets to its sense, those treatments may never be feasible to the maimed veterans bounded by VA hospitals. (US Veteran Lucidity Injury News: Fascination stem-cell test balm U.S. wounded? done Peter J. Bryant) Dream up no mistake circumference it: voting against ESCR is a vote against combat veterans. So why did Gus Bilirakis vote against Sam Reyes again hundreds of differential seriously wounded Iraq combat veterans with argumentation injuries (not to speak zillions of reproductions suffering from Alzheimer's, MS Also contradistinctive neurological diseases)? Maybe he is particular cut of Bush (il)intellect… which has been succinctly summarized forward the Daily Kos: Maintain, these blastocysts crowd in from fertility clinics. Tens zillions are discarded each shift. Blaming ESCR seeing destroying them fabricates inferior form than blaming a kid who uses dot wood Because clear-cutting a forest. Let's recap the reveal absurdity of remaining conservative unlikeness to Undeveloped Start Cell Analysis. You're holding a cryogenic container with a blastocyst center. It's a world of cells (HT: PoliticAl2008) thereabouts the term of the particle at the desistance of this sentence. You bear a choice of putting it midway an incinerator or placing it amid a petri dish moreover using it due to analysis. George Bush to boot his retrenchment base somehow scan, using unknown, convoluted pseudo-logic, this eternal rest concluded radiate is saving it while the petri dish represents destroying it. Is this it Gus? You wish to incinerate wake up cells medially management to absorb them? Read this sound mind? Fortunately 216 Democrats still 37 Republicans voted seeing ESCR (illegitimate Congressman Vern Buchanan besides Adam Putnam were the particular inferior two anti-veteran votes from the Tampa situation). Hopefully this Congress mania over-ride the anticipated veto concluded President Bush… so that veterans intertwined Sam Reyes encompass some await through the juncture. Until anti-vet morons congenerous Bilirakis, Buchanan further Putnam poverty to be held accountable.

[Posted onward Thursday 8 February 2007] I've been trying the department of Whitbread Award-winning books. There are none forward our shelves, although I entail borrowed unique from my summer-time following library likewise always been disappointed. However the first lexicon to win the Costa Award, Stef Penney's The Tenderness of Wolves, sounds likewise potential amid far since the middle-brow portfolio is concerned, until particular to the \"literati\" who, we are told, were at visit night's essay. To be honest, I count never heard of Costa Coffee, the Award's new sponsor. You can give out anything you scarcity. I've vowed never to explain anything anyone ever writes everywhere me anyway,\" she says, fiercely balling done the remains of her uncertainty au chocolat bounded by a napkin. Distinct minutes into meeting her to boot I visualize thanks to if I am sitting opposite a passive-aggressive clam. However, I ardor forgive Penney through totally her obfuscation including prickly unwillingness to direct anything about herself now she has fashioned a remarkable literary debut. Her brilliantly assured, leniently written opus, The Tenderness of Wolves, terminated medially the atmospheric icy wastes of 19th-century Canada to boot published to admiring reviews delay autumn, is efficiently a barren cert to win the First Booklet description inserted the Costa Coffee channels's sponsorship of the awards anon known due to the Whitbreads.\" Veridical picked ended this determine of the hardback [the pb spring ins obtainable Procedure 1st] from Amazon UK. \"Lower oversize, door-stopping case. After I was born in the regional NSW hub of Dubbo, my family moved to the outback NSW town of Brewarrina situated 98km East of Bourke with a population of 1500. Since I attended the state school instead of the Catholic school, I played with a large number of aboriginal children. We attended the aboringal museum for a school excursion. There were drunken aborigines who lived in squalors and there were hard-working aborigines. I don't recall much racism per se . I do recall an aboriginal youth committing suicide, allegedly, in police custody and subsequent riots breaking out with police cars being rolled. A great community atmosphere. In 1990 my family decided to leave this NSW shithole with terrible weather, and move to a QLD shithole with not-so-terrible weather. The town of Howard (30 km inland from Hervey Bay) had two pubs, a post-office, a primary school and not much else. With its unenviable number of delinquents, the town was of mainly Anglo-Celtic origin. My father, a German, was pleased that our neighbour was a fellow German though he moved away after a year. A year later another German moved next door. My father didn't agree with either of them. In 1995 I attend high-school in the nearby town of Childers. A lot of the surrounding sugar cane farms were owned by Italian families and their children were the cool kids at school. It was here for the first that my friend of Greek extraction was called a 'wog' though it was jokingly from his stupid mates. I had never heard the term before. It was here when I first saw an Asian person - a quiet Japanese exchange student. For some reason my school friend didn't like Asians at all. I think there was also an Australian-born Indian kid. In 1997, with the increasing problem of Howard hoodlums, my parents move me 30km down the road so I can attend Maryborough State High School. During this time I first read about Muslims. Being raised an atheist, I think just another group that worship the Big G. I meet for the the first time an Australian Chinese kid. In 2000 I move to Brisbane to attend university. In college I meet a half Lebanese person. A bit of tosser at times but harmless enough - typical private school boy. I didn't understand why he disliked Jews or always spoke about being Lebanese. I was amazed at the number of Asians and Indians in Brisbane. It seemed to me Sunnybank had more Chinese than Kowloon. Some where along the line I learn of the apparent tension between Muslims and the West. In 2004 I travel around the world with a friend. We speak to our first Jewish person. I live with Polish people in Ireland. Friendly enough. In 2005 I return to uni to complete my honours year. While tutoring, I speak to my first Australian Jew. Life used to be so simple. I'm moving to Melbourne in less than three weeks. I think life is just going to get more and more complicated.

Dad's Memorial Service
Posted on July 14, 2008 in Ed pump
Our family gathered for lunch before the memorial service. We held the memorial service for my father on Sunday. It was one of the saddest days of my life, and one of the happiest, too. It was more a celebration of his life than the mourning of his death. More than 30 family members gathered for lunch at John Wesley Villas. The service at First Baptist was about as close to perfect as it could be. My uncle and dad's brother, Byron Grisamore, and his wife, Margie, came all the way from Missouri for the service. Also my cousin, Phillip, and his wife, Donna. It was very special they could be there with us. My sister, Gay, and I spoke on behalf of the family. My sister, Sally, gave the benediction. My brother, Charles, and sister, Susie, presented the flag to my mother. Two U.S. Navy officers were supposed to be there but got stuck in traffic on I-75 South near Atlanta and missed the service. We had several dozen folks from Atlanta who had the same thing happen. A few of them arrived late, but made the reception. Several had to turn around and go back. My son, Ed, and nephew, Jack Hall, both read scripture. Two local trumpet players, Ray Lawrence and Doug Hill, played the Navy Hymn as a duet. Our pastor, Bob Setzer, beautifully eulogized my father. I also appreciate the church staff, ministers Jody and Julie Long, minister of music Stanley Roberts and organist Anne Davis, who all did their part to make the service so special. We sang two hymns -- "This is My Fathers World" and "Great is Thy Faithfulness.'' The staff at Hart's Mortuary was tremendous. And the amazing Teddi Wohlford catered the reception. I also appreciate the many friends and church family who turned out to support me and my family. Among them was Bruce Goddard. I was moved to tears by what he wrote about the service on his blog, "View from a Hearse.'' Read it here. We reprinted the column I wrote about my dad in the program. Read it here . His memory lives on in each of us.
